What do you guys think of Bob McKenzies initial Draft Rankings

Description
I personally have some different opinions than Bob and where he ranked some of these players. I believe that Clarke is better than Edvinsson and that Johnson is better than Beniers. Also, I would include Carson Lambos in the top 10 for sure. I do like where he put Raty. He hasn’t been great and at this point all the guys in front of him deserve to be in front of him. Let me know what your guy’s opinions are in the comments.

I don't know what happened to Raty to fall off like that? Can someone tell me why please I haven't watched too much of the 2021 draft class

I'm surprised he has McTavish that high. A lot of people talk about him as a mid- to late-1st rounder due to being "one dimensional". (Not that I agree.)

This draft is going to be a crap shoot. Not only because there's no single clear #1 Pick, but also because COVID hasn't allowed a lot of players to actually play much. So, some guys are going to get elevated over others simply due to playing time/COVID rather than talent.

No clear #1, but a VERY strong top-10 IMO.

IMO he just hasn't progressed much. Other players have moved ahead of him while he's been running in place.

I don’t know much on this class, but I do agree that Powers will go 1st.

A lot will change between now and draft day. Powers is probably the favorite right now, but a guy like Guenther could definitely jump up along with my favorite prospect who is a walking human highlight reel, Kent Johnson.

Yeah, is very true. But I was thinking that a big franchise defenseman could be appetizing to a team at number one

Also Brandt Clarke. A talented right shot defenseman is definitely something teams are looking for.

running in place is a great summary. I think its that while he used to be the projected #1 nothing has really grown or evolved. Like hes projected to be a solid 2C/ top6 guy is a safe bet but nothing else. He doesnt have much potential left to show as the scouts just think he really hasnt done anything notable and has struggled to really develop into a true 1st overall talent and at times just flat out struggled every now and then in his league. Hes just kinda "there". Hell be good and should be a safe selection but its more likely hell be a middle 6 guy than a top line guy I think is the assumption (which is unfortuante because i liked him and i like finnish prospects).

Raaty hasn't shown any high end skills, he plays way to much on the perimeter, benefiting from Euro size ice, and has had absolutely no progression.

Still producing at almost the same rate on the same U20 team as 2 years ago.

Bob McKenzie said that he's fallen since the start of his season this year has been underwhelming, and just recently he was also cut from the Finish Team at the world juniors, which can't help.
