You are underrating Hall. From 2015-2019 he was arguably the best LW in the NHL from a statistical standpoint. Ranked in the 99th percentile in the league in shot attempts & chances per 60. Defensive game ranked in the 70th percentile. All while playing on a line with Zajac. He should be 4th.

Ranking Lafreniere higher than Hall seems wrong to me. Actually ranking him higher than anyone other than Yakupov at this time seems flawed. He has not even played 1 game in the NHL yet.

I mean, Lafreniere did score at a higher rate than MacKinnon on a worse team in the QMJHL so the talent is there but he could easily be a bust. The Rangers will be starting him on the fourth line w/Howden, Lemieux & the Bittetto-JJ pairing next season. It’ll kill his confidence cuz he’s gonna get caved in.

The talent was there with Yakupov too.. not saying Lafreniere will be a bust at all just think he should be separated from the rest on list (let alone ranked above Hall)
just a recap:
Hughes is a better pick then Hall after a bad season...
RNH is so bad that Yakupov is ranked ahead of him...
Lafrenière is somehow already #6 on your list...
and Mathews is #2 when Mac is widely considered the 2nd best player in the NHL...

Hall wins the Hart, gets hurt the following season, has a slow season last year(had 52 in 60 games). Its crazy how people forget that he is a .9 pt/game which is really good considering the teams he has played on.

Yes I agree Hall has become so disrespected over the past year. The guy does everything and has great underlying numbers while playing mostly on bad teams. He's a superstar IMO.
