When are the IIHF going to announce the pre-tournament schedule. It shouldn’t take long to reschedule something when all involved parties have nothing else to do.
Yeah he didn't make the team. His older brother did though.
I haven't been able to find any official citations as to why he got snubbed, but it probably has a lot to do with his draft stock falling fast. I doubt its an age thing, as countryman and projected2022 top pick Brad Lambert made the squad. Hopefully it's just a wakeup call. Something as simple as Puljujarvi heading back to Edmonton might give Raty enough room in Karpat's top-six to finally start making some noise.

As a Finn I can say that he got dropped out simply because the Finnish team had several better option based on this year's performance. Räty has been very lackluster this year. The potential is there, but the Finnish team is not willing to risk taking a player with disappointing results...
Can anyone tell me the final score of the Slovakia, Czech Republic game, I can't find the score anywhere. Thx
I’m sure you’ve already seen it, but it was 6-0. Slovakia got dominated and took way too many penalties. Myšák had a few good chances but couldn’t bury them.
Godammit Dach done for the tournament, per Bob McKenzie
That sucks. Canada can survive without him, but it sucks for him that he won’t be able to play. Hopefully he’ll be back by the start of the Hawks’ season.

Yeah. It's not like we don't have other options but it certainly hurts us a lot
Brad Lambert is some kind of a special player. 16 years old and popped off the page right away. Another young guy I was surprised by was Beniers. I noticed he was the 6th man for the US. I didn't personally get a chance to watch him besides that shift but was pleasantly surprised to see he got some responsibility out there.
Yep. Fresh and full team filled with generational talent put up against a team that wasted all their energy in yesterday's game and only have like 14 healthy skaters as the team has been ravaged by covid...
