Not even close calgary doesn’t need any of that, if they trade gaudreau they would need someone who can replace him

With two years left and after relatively disappointing year I don't see them getting much more than this. Two mid-6 players and two first rounders is not a bad package. Especially if he's dealt with the intent of confirming that CGY won't be left with nothing in their hands as his contract expires.
