The only ones i think are crazy lopsided are Ottawa, Winnipeg, Columbus, and Montreal.

Montreal’s was more “heart and soul” type deal, they’re absolutely not equals.

Nylander > Ehlers
Reilly > Jones
Gallagher > Hyman

I think the others are fairly equal- disregarding age (no cap planning implications, no age)

I feel like they’re both spectacular players but Reilly is slightly better offensively and Jones is slightly better defensively right now. The main difference is that Reilly hasn’t had a werenksi level partner EVER. Keep an eye out for a 50-70 point season (point pace) from Reilly now that he’s back on PP1

Columbus isn't too far off and on just skill, Winnipeg is close. It's contract and age that tip the scale.

I’ll be honest I’m not a huge jones fan. I don’t see the argument for a gap being anywhere close to what you are proposing.

No, jeez, really? Isn’t it obvious why? It isn’t enough of a sample size to compare them, at the NHL level.

Montreal isn’t, I took the ‘heart and soul’ guys of the team.

The Ottawa trade is similarly skilled guys, same age (5 months apart), same position.
