Description
Brassard was such a good player before he came to pit, it really messed up his career tbh. He was a legit 2C. I was so excited at the time of the brassard trade. I thought he would’ve been such a good 3C for us but it just didn’t work out

From what I heard, it seemed Brassard had an issue with Sully cuz he wasn’t willing to give him more ice time. He actually played decently in NYI. Also, Dan Kingerski wrote an article in 2018 talking about how Brassard & Sheary put up really good analytics during their time together.

Brassard wasn’t effective as a center for the isles. He was pretty good as a middle 6 RW

Yeah I know he played wing there, but he was a C for most of his career

Yeah but at this point in his career he isn’t an effective center. He needs less responsibility.

Yeah he probably can’t cover that much surface anymore. Maybe him & McCann can switch positions in the D zone. Honestly I’d be thrilled with a McCann-Brassard-Sheary Line.
