To play Tavares(A centre) on the wing? Maybe if you want to put him on the third line but why this.

Cause Tavares is getting older and slower. At some point he won't be able to handle the responsibilities of center.

This is actually demonstrably untrue. Nylander grew up as a center, played his minor leagues, in the AHL(under Keefe interestingly enough), etc, at center being groomed to take over as 2C. In his rookie season(15-16), he was called up to play 3C between Hyman and Greening. He was so successful there that even Greening was scoring .5 ppg. Since then he's still looked good whenever he's been at C other than game 5 of the playins last season which came with very little preparation. Thats on Keefe though, not Nylander.

We could play nylander on RW, Mikheyev in LW and Tavares on C, we keep the same line!!!

Ironic, considering Thorton and Spezza and listed as 3 and 4 C. Guess they should be moved to the wings too.

One at 4c for 7 mins a night is whatever. I'm not ready to trust Thornton at 41 with 15ish mins a night at 3C either.

Other than that, I took this AGM to mean more about looking forward. Other aging centers have been moved to the wing once they started slowing down and still found great success there, Giroux and Stamkos for example. Its perfectly fine to wonder how the Leafs might do that with Tavares.

I wouldn't mind Nylander and centre, but this isn't the year to move Tavares to LW. And in those post you've moved Kerfoot to RW. Why? But really think, Nylander has to told and the beginning of the offseason....you're moving centre. Give him an offseason to prepare for the position.'

But wouldn't you value speed more for a winger?
