Mittelstadt is getting nowhere near that contract.

We gave him his QO to keep his rights. He did not sign it. He is an RFA with no arbitration rights and can't be offersheeted. We are looking at 1 year 800K for him. The team has soured on him, his work ethic and his acting like a child and are trying to move him.

Why are we trading for a 3.125 million dollar 4th line center so that we can put our 2.25 million dollar center in the press box?

Also not sure why boston is trading the better goalie for the worse, more expensive goalie.

Also, Pilut isn't leaving the KHL, where he would have to buyout his own contract, to get that little money and then not play again, which is why he left.

Boston declines easily. Nelson is AHL fodder. The 3rd does not get them to downgrade in net.

Especially because the cap hit also isn't a significant drop.

OK, I will revert that trade.
I saw it on a different post and added to it.

It appears all of the comments were directed to the Boston trade.
In hindsight, I regret adding it.
I was hoping to get more feed back on the Calgary trade.
I also made some unlikely line up combinations.
