No problem with the Pens, However being a dominant team for so many years and always trading for rentals shows now that they are extremely thin at young talent and their old guys are only getting older. Its natural that they will start to decline and they have already began that decline gradually

I am not a Canucks fan, but there is some severe undervaluing of them going on in just about everyone of these I see. As much as I would be disappointed I feel they will be the Canada division champs.

Sure but they also dealt with massive injuries they will challenge for the top 4 without doubt.

As much as I would love for the Wild to get a high pick, there's no chance in hell they finish last in that division.

Sabres are the only team who have really gotten better. Hall, staal, cozens, eakin, along with dahlin, joki, eichel all being another year older and prospects who have been marinating in the minors that are more than ready.

If your top center is Marcus Johansson that is a major issue. Minnesota does not look good right now. Having a team full of young kids isnt beneficial always. Lots pf leadership loss in koivu and staal

Eakin isn't good, Staal is a 3C that will play as a 2C. Bottom-6 isn't really good and goaltending is questionable

Staal had 47 Points in 66 games last year on a garbage team? Thats more than enough for a good 2nd line center. And have you ever actually used your eyes to watch eakin play or are you just a couch GM that stares at analytics all day? Tage thompson spent the summer putting on weight and developing his game. 225 lbs to be exact. Dylan Cozens is about to show what he can do in the WJC. And look up Artu Routsalainen to see another prospect we have coming over ready to go. Swallow your pride as Boston fan and realize the sabres have a legit team for the first time in 10+ years

At this point of his career, it's unlikely Staal keeps this current pace. Eakins isn't good, eye test or analytics. I guess we just agree to disagree, here? Thompson being 225 lbs doesn't tell me anything on how good he'll be this season. Cozens and Ruotsalainen could help but just like Thompson, we'll see in during the season. As I said, the bottom-6 and the goaltending are question marks. Yes, they could be better than they have been in the past 5-10 past years but they're also in the toughest division so it's likely they end up where they usually end up. Again, that's also an opinion and a prediction so we can disagree.
