No thanks, can’t afford. Nuge isn’t for sale anyway.

Edm isn't going to do that.
Besides moving the wrong defenseman. Way to early to count on Matheson.

You know Edmonton is taking on more salary than Pittsburgh right, and Edmonton has less cap space then Pittsburgh

We need Nuge more. What you are offering is no better on LHD then what we already have in Nurse, Jones and Russell. If need be, I would rather just sign a veteran D to a league minimum deal

I think Edmonton would be better served keeping their 3rd best forward and hoping rather than giving up him for spare parts that won't move the needle in the slightest. Klefbom is a massive loss, no doubt, possibly and insurmountable loss but this doesn't help them much.

Doesn’t completely fix the Oilers defensive issue. While creating a massive issue by trading the #1 winger on their team.

Hopkins for Pettersson, Jankowski, Almeida, 2nd

I am okay with this only because I think that Pettersson is going to falter, not develop. Edmonton fans are so used to losing and losers that they grossly over value Hopkins. Hopkins couldn't lead a thirsty horse to water if they were standing in the middle of a stream. But he is okay for the Pens to put out for 1 year at $3.75M, at the cost of a 2nd, a meh prospect, a bottom 6 F, and a D who's 15 minutes is almost up.

I mean it fills holes on both teams, but also creates different ones on both teams.

Not a chance Edmonton does this. They can just sign a UFA - Vatanen, Chara, Greene, Hutton, Koekkoek, etc - and place Klefbom on LTIR.

Would love that trade and signing. I think Pens would look for a better 3rd pair D than Riikola though. Maybe mid-season trade?

What is this utter utter nonsense? Nuge was top 10 in points for a left wing. Like top 10 in points for LW’s in the entire league. He’s a smart 2 way player who can perform well any position. You don’t get that for a 2nd, a meh prospect, a bottom 6F, and a D who's 15 minutes are almost up.

I didnt say anything about his hands. Nor anything about his defensive play. Good thing you countered those points that I didnt make. Ironic that you didn't bother to even try to counter what I did say.

If other people aren't paying attention, maybe they will think you did a good job.

Most EDM fans don't kno how good 28 is now since he came here... I'd hate to lose a Top 4 Defensive LHD with a reach of 12' (lol) & gives Forwards fits.
BUT
I also think RNH is a very underrated good all around player

He’s a solid player but oilers fans love to overrate him. He’s been a 50-60 point forward till the last 2 seasons

RNH is a solid defensive player and is a bigger agitator than Mathew Tkachuk. if you don't think so just watch his play away from the puck. He slashes and spears players in the ribs constantly. It's why monahan fought him, a fight which he took unlike Tkachuk.
