Scheifele > Tavares imo. You could also argue that at this time (probably not for long) Scheifele > Pettersson.

I think a better argument is that Schiefele is equal to JT but definitely not better than Petterson. Petterson is going to be a top 10 player in the league. I love Schiefele but he just isn't as good.

True, I tired to word my response as best I could but maybe it didn't come across correct lol. There is no doubt in my mind that Elias Pettersson will be a better player. I think he's extremely close already and maybe he even is now. Scheifele does have 4 seasons in a row above a point per game. Mind you, if you look where Scheifele was after 2 pro seasons, Pettersson is clearly off to a much better start. Regardless at this point in time, both are very close and both are great players!

As I said, I love Schiefele, that said he's just not in the same realm as Petterson who I think will be a top 5 centre in the league if he isn't already there. He will never be in the same berth as Matthews and McDavid but he's very close to them.
