K now I get Nashville's signings. Cause I was wondering why Granlund than this happened okay makes sense. Cause Nashville went with 2 good talent rather than 1 excellent talent in Hoffman.

Kerfoot is better defensively and is younger with more to prove. Haula is really a pp guy now and nothing more.

now we can stop with the 90000000000000000000000000000000 posts of Haula going to the penguins when we all knew that was never going to happen.
AND the 900000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 posts of TB dumping players on NSH.

again...player might not want to play or sign in Toronto and who is just going to take Kerfoots contract at this point in the offseason.

You wasted your cap space on Spezza, Thornton, and Simmonds already. Maybe if Dubas would have been smarter with his signings

Its sad to see how people view kerfoot cause honestly hes everything the leafs need rn. The guy has good stats both offensively and defensively and the contract honestly aint bad especially if he rebounds back to 40 points which should happen this season. He also showed keefe he can be that pk center that we desperately needed. Sure Haula would be cheaper but he really would not have been what we need. He is mainly an offensive forward now and his defensive stats since leaving Vegas have gone down.

In general for a team wanting to improve defensively having guys like Kerfoot is a huge benefit

If they wanted him there would've been talk about it. Toronto media is unbearably nosy.

Kerfoot is fine for what he provides.

Kerfoot had a bad year offensively but improved defensively with the leafs. I could see him changing as now he has settled in. Should see him return to his 40point days
