Description

I think Montreal is set up pretty well at the moment.
I wish we could figure out a way to give Mete more ice time. Worst comes to worst, we should play him for the first month, give him good minutes and boost his numbers and then trade him, maybe a team like WPG or the Avs could use him.

But also, what do you guys think of the Frolik singing? I'm pretty happy about it, just two seasons ago, he had put up 35 points in 65 games so hopefully he can get back to a similar pace.

As for goalies go, I think Lindgren is the odd man out. We could trade him to teams that might need a second backup, like NYR (could unite the Lindgren brothers), WSH (fill the King Hank gap), or WPG (assurance for Brossoit).

On the trade block, imo, is Weal, Poehling, Ouellet, and Fleury.

.895 in 19 games isn't good by any stretch. Lindgren isn't better but he isn't worse either. Having Brossoit and Lindgren compete for the backup spot would probably improve both their stats and having either in the taxi squad would be good in case of injuries.

I like Mete and I think that would be a solid pairing, with Edmunson and Romanov rotating in if need be. I wouldn't mind trading Kulak, his value must have improved after the playoffs and he is on a pretty cheap contract. I like him but I wouldn't be mad if we traded him.
