The Hawks, like many teams, do not load up the first line or first two lines, they try to roll 3 scoring lines. So Kubalik, Debrincat and Kane on 3 different lines is what they rolled with in the playoffs and at the end of last season and worked.

I mean success in other leagues does not always translate to the nhl

not saying that, but Chicago has an amazing record in making player's in Europe into stars
