competence, your asking way to much out of JR at this point.

He needs to go. More damage done than help at this point. We basically tossed a 1st round pick away this year. There was no point in getting Kap if he wasn't going to competently rebuild the bottom part of the team.

I mean all this team really needs is one more third liner. The 4th line of ZAR-Bluegar-Tanev is great. I would’ve been absolutely fine if he added one more established third liner like Haula or Granland, and let Poulin/Jano/ERod/Lafferty battle it out for the last spot on the line. Same with letting Ceci/Riikolq/POJ/Ruhwedel battle it out for the 6th D spot.

This team needs one more third liner imo and I’d be comfortable

well there are no 3rd liners left and
in the real world. Sully will be hell bent on Ceci playing 3RD and when it turns into a dumpster fire they'll tell us all how he's not the problem and it's the rest of the team. Like we're all blind. Hell even blind people know better.

A. Sully has lost the room. This has got to be the last year. He can't coach, is incapable of making changes or adapting, and players are just tired of hearing him. He's chased more good players off this team and can't manage players at all. He failed with Cole, Brassard, Kessel, and down the line. How you can have two of the greatest players in the game and an awful power play is just no excuse. If you can't make a power play work with Crosby, Malkin, Jake and Zucker you shouldn't be a NHL coach. And he couldn't.
B. JR needs to go. He's not the right guy to lead this team at this point. His decision making is suspect at best at this point. He had a good run, but we've all seen this before. It's time to pull him out.

We need a GM who can make better decisions in FA and a coach who isn't scared to play the youth.

it stinks that GMJR hasn't even made news waves being in on these players especially when we have cap space.....
