Two pieces that Winnipeg doesn't want or need plus a first won't make them consider trading Laine.

I don't love the deal but if you think WPG wouldn't be all over Sam Girard you're drunk.

Lol. A small, all offense, no defense LD would be extremely easy to turn down for Winnipeg.

I don't think I'll ever get over the "Nico or Nolan" draft where the next three picks were Heiskanen, Makar, Pettersson.

Picking 1st is overrated anyway.

Remember when boston picked 3 in a row and picked 2 busts, and debrusk over chabot, boeser, connor and barzal?

Mind blowing how good boston could have been

In the last 14 years Bostons roster has Pasta, Debrusk and Mcevoy as very good-top level players they drafted. (obviously they traded Seguin but it wasnt like he took a lot of scouting in the first place)

In the 3 years before that they grabbed Marchand, Bergeron and Krejci.

I would like to know who left the scouting staff around 2006 because they are good despite their drafting.
