Kinda just guessed on the cap increase. York is the first call up in case of an injury. Saving some decent bit of cap for future extensions.

The only way you are getting an asset back for Ghost is if he isn't a healthy scratch and productive for the 2020-21 season.

Seattle will have like 5-6 other contracts they can take for a 1st.
There is no way they are taking that for scraps.

I agree Gostisbehere's value depends on how he plays this season.

Even if he plays well, would he hold positive value to the Wings? At 28, with 2 years left at $4.5M, I'm not sure if he would be a good pickup.

The only ld detroit has under contract for the following season is dekeyser so they need some LD in there somewhere and if ghost looks like he can play like 2nd pair minutes I think they could be interested.

I agree. Cholowski hasn't earned a spot yet. McIsaac is going to miss all of this season to repair his other shoulder. Staal won't be a Wing next season and I hope Biega doesn't get resigned. So it could happen but I wouldn't expect Detroit to spend a lot to get him.
