13 wins shy of 400. I hope he gets there, but I doubt it happens this season

Maybe this deal would make a little more sense to me if the Ducks were gonna be competitive.

Feel like it was either the Ducks or retirement.

They still need a back up that can take pressure off Gibson this is a great signing. A top 15 back up in the league for 1M. How does it not make sense

13 might be a bit hard with the shortened season but he only needs 3 to pass Hasek I think

great back up?
.907 save % last year. He's also now 40.
So it's not like I'm expecting to see that rise.
At some point you got to move on from these old guys who are clearly in decline.

Look at his combined last 3 years, he is a great back up and by far was the best available

4th spot in that Western Division is wide open.

True. The more I think about it, the more I like this signing. There's no Carter Hart-type Goalie waiting in the AHL b/c of Ryan Miller. Stolarz is ok but he's most likely never gonna be a #1.

I mean there is Dostal, but I’d rather give him one more year

I was really hoping for Dostal to be the backup, he is the best prospect goaltenter in Europe rn.

If Dostal isn't ready yet, then this makes a ton of sense for ANA; I would trust Miller over Stolarz as the backup any day.

Yes but look at the decline of the Ducks over those three years. Those are still really good numbers when you consider the team infront of him and both of those don’t change the fact he is by far the best back up available for a team that needed one. This is a great signing

With all the young guys on the Ducks a veteran presence in the locker room will be badly needed.
