DO NOT THROW LARSSON AWAY can’t possibly stress that enough!! He’s the only physical presence we have on the blue line. Who’s going to clear bodies in front of kosk? Jones and bear are too small will bounce off bodies before moving anyone. Russell is too busy laying down trying to be a goalie. Barrie enough said. Nurse either fails at that or takes a penalty that’s an area of his game still needing massive improvement. Larsson isn’t our best on the blue line but he’s incredibly important being the only one physically capable of handling the toughest tasks.

If Klefbom is healthy next year I would also trade away Nurse ( cause he's the worse d-man defensively speaking) and put Samorukov on 3rd pairing.

I wouldn’t have been shocked to see him moved this offseason. As an oilers fan been banging that drum for awhile. He’s a good player I just don’t think his style is what Edmonton needs but who knows now that klefs future is soo in question could only afford to loose one not both.

Don't think Bear is worthy of 3.8m, Cernak just signed for 2.975m X 3. If Oilers want a playoff run, better keep Larsson. Doubt if lottery bound Jersey is going to give a 2nd rounder for one year of Larsson.

Nurse just gets lost in his own zone, that is his biggest issue.
