That’s a lot for a goalie they won’t need and a 1st round pick. Murphy alone is worth a 1st or 2nd + prospect and with the cap relief from we’re giving you for Fleury seems to favor VGK.

I'd regrettably do this as a Hawks fan. Heck, they could flip Flower in the 2022 season.

No, that is crazy. Flowers is a cap dump at this point, he has very little value and the Hawks would have to retain to move him for anything back which is probably only a 2nd.

Yeah, but Hague is a pretty good LD prospect and the 1st is a 1st. Its only 1.5 years of Flower and I would flip him year two for that 2nd. I guess I'd prefer Lankinen or Subban, but that's a smaller part of the trade.

If the Hawks had any interest in Marc Andre-Fleury, They would've just resigned Corey Crawford for much cheaper. besides there's no freaking way MAF waives for Chicago.
