That's cool, doesn't mean anything to me

Maybe that's why they can't win anything. Too focused on individuals than the team.

And the Habs are too focus on francophones, it's a shame the Q doesn't produce superstars anymore.

It's so much fun to watch Canadiens/Leafs fan disputes. Kings/Ducks adherents are pikers by comparison.

Ottawa has their own trade market, just like Toronto has their own market for RFA's signings

Bozak and Stepan are UFAs which is wider market when it comes to Centers.

That's a pretty ignorant statement, but I shouldn't expect anything more from you. Next time try to come up with something that's true

The market for centers is better, but I would be shocked if Dorion is able to get is 2nd rounder back at the trade deadline

The last 2 Cups the Habs won were all on the shoulder of 1 player, named Roy, probably explains why they named Price their franchise player, reality check, Price is no Roy.

with this team habs will go forward be aware that you are no longer on the sweet avenue. We have enforced our rear muscle up over and even gain quality depth., with a full Price that want to win, webber too you have to have your squad be check and ready day minus kinda right now cuz you gonna see the new era of this team the last 25 were sad but next seems bright so watchout.

Quebec need to step back pinch themselves and go all in for a new system. Let them have a national team, so they can develop for higher tournament instead of playing with Canada because of 2020 situation, if we were able to have each province with their guys and like old time have the best winner to go international? That could be fun, just like curling and give another push for better suited competition!!

But for Q they need to address how they develop like habs did before. Should we build and academy?

That was more or less what I meant though I don't think he'll appreciate his new income tax

Why? Gee, when players from the US get traded to to Raptors or Jays, never hear them complaining about taxes. Somehow it is CF fantasy where taxes paid by hockey entertainers are so bad in Canada.

Only 2 mil left in real dollars, he has already got the most out of this including a 3 mil bonus this year. Even if he has to pay an extra 2-300k in tax, a drop in the bucket.

I mean, I'd gladly take an extra 200-300k to play in Arizona instead of Ottawa.

I get the move but Ottawa pays a hefty price for some leadership and a 2C spot. A second for Stepan is a yikes.

Yeah but it’s not gonna be negative value.

Just the owner, and the fans, maybe the goalies too, hard to say with goalies though. It's going to be a fun year for guessing the lineups, lol.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Senators traded Tierney (for a defenceman), and signed Stepan to a two year extension.

Keep in Mind that Ottawa ONLY owes him 2 million bucks which makes this trade even better.

Derek Stepan's trade value down the toilet!

From the looks of it, we'd be lucky to get future considerations.
