Some how some way they have pulled off the impossible for this year.

Now what happens next year? That will be a bigger test. Kucherov should be healthy, and they will not have Gaborik or Nillsson to put on LTIR. They will have to trade at least two players and add sweeteners because they will be in worse shape. Coleman and Lweis will walk but you will need to pay Goodrow, Foote and ABB.

This was a stop gap, a really good stop gap but a stop gap.

Johnson's getting shipped to Seattle. That's almost certain. Naturally it will cost them something else as well.

Most likely either Palat or Killorn gets traded as well. The full NTCs won't bring them much of a headache next year.

Maybe next season Palat will become pregnant and be on LTPL. Long Term Parental Leave.

He pulled it off by losing arguably his best forward.

Tyler Johnson get shipped to Seattle with a second a fourth and probably Ben Thomas Similar to the deal that convinced VGK to take Jason garrison
Johnson has more term left on his contract but he is a much better player

I know! People keep acting like they lost nobody. THEY LOST KUCH. I can’t think of a bigger loss to be honest.

It’s a big loss no doubt but this roster went from an 82-83 point team down to about 75 point team 56 game schedule

The point is that they didn’t, “pull it off.”

Their most expensive player needed surgery.

I guess you can say TB “got lucky”
But it does seem just when you think TB is doomed something works out.

I wouldn’t say that. They lost an unbelievably good player for an extended period.

Their most expensive player needs surgery, and if anyone thinks that makes the GM some wizard, they’re a grade A dolt.

A case of good things happen to good people and Jeff Vinnik (Lightning owner) is a really good person

He helped build a team that could lose its best player And still field a team that’s capable of making a Stanley Cup run How’s that a dolt

That is not what people are saying.

Do you think this headline is supposed to mean, “they pulled it off by having a team that still looks competitive without kucherov?” If you think that was the intent of this ACGM, you have yourself a nice day.

It appears you’re just having a conversation with yourself. This forum is littered with comments and ACGMs saying that the front office pulled off some wizardry. Those people are all idiots. If you want to think this conversation is about something completely different, keep talking to yourself.

What are you basing those point totals on? The point is that the Kuch injury had nothing to do with Bresbois "pulling it off". It was a combination of luck and unluck (however you want to look at it).
