I like the Frolik add for depth during a covid-season like this, but I don't see the need for Perry and am surprised DAL didn't resign him for that price. And he's signing with a team that already has very deep winger depth, so not sure when he's really gonna play...

The Canadian division just added one of the most hated and dirty players in the league. Having to play against Corey Perry 9 times is going to increase the intensity in those games for sure. Not sure how much he has left in the tank.

Byron tough to move. Armia maybe. But i’d be hesitant to move him with Anderson injury history.

We live in a world where Stepan is acquired for a mid 2nd round pick and 1 goal scorers sign 5.5x7 deals. At this point what happens is unpredictable

Im not even sure Perry will be a regular unless one Byron/Armia is dealt

Another great move by Montreal. It is going to be a hell of a team, and I hate it.

I feel like maybe Kulak gets dealt or Weal to clear slight cap but Byron would be the logical opinion for the long run and we have the picks to do it

Ya but on the opposite end of the spectrum good players are getting low balled in free agency and teams are more frugal than ever.

Don’t see anyone lining up to trade for a 31 year old 3rd liner with 3 years left over 3m per. Especially when 85% of the teams are going to lose $ again this year.

If he had 1 year left be a lot easier.

Kulak and Weal are both likely options but interestingly that doesn't create a spot for Perry. Possibly Byron at 4C ? He's played center a few times but idk

Or we waive Byron and hope something happens, and some team magically pick some Weal off waivers too

Great move. This is what Toronto should have done over Wayne Simmonds. He's getting paid twice the salary of Perry and he's at absolute best even, but Perry is probably still better.

He was quite the pest during the SCF. Still working hard in front of the net and scoring goals where the opposing fans say "_-_-_-_ that guy".
