Don't think a team sends a first for him so 2nd plus seems most likely

Sceviour's career numbers aren't wildly different, obviously upside is there for Roslovic

The Pens are a rebuilding team and they’re trading away a 2nd plus for a random player?

Well,Iguess not,but still they’re not the type a to trade a 2nd for a 4th/3rd liner.

yeah I don't think he's worth a 2nd to be honest.
Where does he fit. He's not really a center. He's a wing. I'd rather just play Poulin who has more upside.

Roslovic is a 2nd/3rd liner and JR absolutely loves trading draft picks

The jets want a left shot top.4 dman for him, gotta think they work hard in that before doing a deal like this

Another potential 3C option or fills the hole at 3RW. Not sure Poulin is ready and they're still in win now mode

If Kapanen doesn't fit with Crosby he could get a look there. I'd take a flyer for a 2nd

Think you mean right and if someone was offering that he would've been moved by now

Lias Anderson got a 2nd, he’s worth at least that and probably more based on being the better player than Lias

No the article on sportsnet mentions left shot, which is odd

eh that was a late round 2nd and honestly they paid for pedigree there. The guy was a 7th overall.
Not saying that is right or wrong but it is what it is. This guy was not drafted all that high. I think they expect to get more out of Lias. But one bad decision doesn't excuse another.

I don't see Winnipeg trading Roslovic to make themselves older and worse with a rental they don't need.

Did you just ignore the 2nd round pick? Sceviour is also a more natural fit for the role they were forcing Roslovic into, prevents them from needing to acquire a new penalty killer

edit: assumed Roslovic was a penalty killer there but was not, Sceviour still more of a bottom 6 fit

sure it is what it is, but the Kings paid a 2nd round pick for a much lesser NHLer. Dont see the Jets taking less than that if they just straight up sold him for draft capital
He still is a former first round player and has had a decent start to his NHL career in a limited bottom 6 role. The same argument can be said about Roslovic that there is more potential there for a 2nd line Player based on what he has done to date.

Look at Burakovsky, they traded a 2nd and 3rd for him and he didnt have 40 point seasons to his name yet as a 3rd liner. I think you are just under valuing him saying hes not worth a 2nd

granted it was them saying Jets were trying to trade him for a LHS Dman during the offseason, so that was their ask before Heinola started to look like an legit Stud at the WJC

I assume its bc after Morrissey the Left side at the NHL level drops off big time, Beaulieu Forbot Sbisa isnt great.

I think the issues are a little more than that. Lias barely played. Roslovic has basically had 2 full seasons. He is what he is unless he proves otherwise. I think with Lias people are hoping for more. But like I said, one bad decision does not justify another.
From my take on this the guy doesn't want to play without a real contract. I don't blame him, he wants security if he's going to go out there and put his own health at risk with everything.
Truth is WPG should offer him a real contract if they want him. If they don't think he's worth that than how do you ask for anything.

No, but there's not enough there to make Winnipeg do it unless there was nothing else available and the Jets we're dead set on moving Roslovic. Sceviour as 31 year old rental isn't worth much.

Don't see many teams beating that offer, and sure seems like they don't intend to sign him
