This gives MTL cap space and its a fair trade other than MTL may want Chairot as their LD is their weak link...this would be the only hang up

Montreal cant afford to trade chiarot right now but Armia + 3rd for Roslovic and a 4th or 5th is fair IMO.

Cap wise it's an interesting trade for the Habs but I don't think MB would give up Chiarot. He's really in for building a Saint-Louis/Tampa Bay style defense with big and strong defensemen. Chiarot his forming a great pair with Weber and there's no one that can take his place for the moment. We can't assume Romanov will be able to take top pair responsabilities right away and that would hurt his development.
