Tampa moves out a bad contract for another bad contract just for the year and then moves DD out next year for nothing, Detroit gets the better player and a pick and can move TJ at the ExDraft. If anything needs to be added to either side let me know.

Unless you’re dumping a lot of salary or something like that I see no sense in giving up a pick. if this is straight bad contractor for bad contract drop the pick no way Tampa Bay does that in that situation Detroit Retains 2 million a salary or something like that then yeah the pic

Then who are we going to package a deal with and have Seattle take.So we’d be giving Up a pic that we need desperately by the way to do what really in the long run it’s not gonna be our benefit now if they keep two or $3 million of the DeKaiser salary that might be a different story

Being Johnson who he is we will get a little bit better of a deal from Seattle then with somebody else of equal Talent. Like when Fred McGriff came to play for the Tampa Bay Devil rays back in the Day

I understand but then I just say it’s a bad trade for both teams and you don’t make a trade then

The idea of moving Johnson for RHD (not LHD) reinforcement makes sense, but since we're now cap compliant he has every reason to enforce is full NTC.

I agree. Detroit is already thin on that side of the D.
