Byron has negative value because he has three years left on his contract, and Ottawa doesn’t have room for him since they have about 20 forwards already, and Beaudin isn’t included in that number.

I think you're thinking of the wrong Lemieux. Lehkonen has insane possession metrics and Mete has the best plus/minus on the team. Just in general, Lemieux is not worth it.
