Wow, Chicago should accept that deal if it was offered right away. Especially if that pick isn’t protected. It’s probably gonna be a top 5 pick. Maybe higher.

Ohh sh*t, sorry.. for some reason I thought Owen Tippet played for the Sens. Lol. And thought it was a trade to the Sens then..lol. Sens in that all Canadian league are gonna have a tough go this year, IMO.

Man put Huberdeau on that first line and it's the best line in hockey

Had him there but thought I’d try to spread the talent a bit .

I’ll still take Stamkos/Point/Kucherov, when all healthy. Or Landeskog/McKinnon/Rantanen.

I think Kane's value took a massive hit this year.
He's basically on a team alone in chicago. That team is clearly wrecked and probably needs a full rebuild.
So all the Kane will retire a blackhawk is probably nonsense. I think he'll want a few shots at a cup in his final years. Which means he's probably going to ask out at some point.
Given the age, contract length/amount and not wanting to be there. I don't think they will get that much for him going forward. A 1st, maybe a prospect is my guess. They should move him next offseason. Especially if Toews is gone. That era has ended time to move forward.

Kane’s value is hard to gauge so from panthers end I went with keeping their best wing prospect and best Center prospect(denisenko/heponiemi) and giving up borgstrom and tippett, Connolly and vatrana are more for clearing cap room for kane, and I went first for the pick because of the 2.5 salary retention for three years. I went back and forth on adding borgstrom so I could definitely go without adding him. I’d just like to see panthers make a big play before barkov and huberdeau decide they’ve had it.

I don't know. Chicago may have to retain where ever they move him. Cost of doing business kind of thing because I don't see many teams fitting in a 10 mil cap hit, and that really lowers the value if they have to move someone. Especially in a flat cap world for the next few years.
It really depends on Kane asking to be out. Which at this point, he's got to be thinking, it's time. Losing Toews is huge on that part. You look at what's left there and Keith is like the only guy there from when they were good. He's 37 years old. So at some point you just got to say, if I'm going to get anything else out of playing I need to head on. As that team is basically rebuilding.
He's to old to really be considered a core player at this point. Chicago has hit the point of building a new young core. Which puts him as out is my guess.

I think it depends on toews, if he has to retire I think the Kane/Keith dominoes go. I think Kane has the ability to be a 90-100 pt guy for remainder of contract though.
