I just can't see NY doing that.
4 years of a really old guy at 7 million for 2 years at 5 million for a guy who's pretty much done.
I don't think that makes sense for NY

I don't have an issue with the Oilers trade, but it pre-supposes Turris sustaining a season-ending injury. I don't see Edmonton doing this otherwise.

You are completely right but we are talking about Lou here. He was his boy Parise and doesn't understand that people age.

He was already willing to waive at the deadline last year to go play for Lou.

That foligno return is so bad. We’d get way more than a 5th for a guy that gets selke votes

I'm holding on to Foligno until offered at least a mid 2nd round pick. It might be a high price but that's my line.

honeslty, I don't think the oilers trade happens. Holland made a terrible deal by giving away two seconds so I don't he will do it again

He has been willing to in recent history. Nothing suggests that anything has changed there.

The only issue is trying to find a balance within the deal. Cause it seems like every time someone posts one of these deals, at least one fanbase is unhappy with it.

I’m a lightning fan I know he said before that he came from the area and he loves playing there and he loves living there so that was the only reason I don’t have a rooting interest either way I’m a diehard lightning fan
