Those are some very bullish predictions. They'll be fighting with Boston for 4th in that division. Caps and Flyers no doubt better. Islanders better IMO, could argue that one.

Also I think Kapanen won't mesh well with Crosby or Malkin and he gets moved to 3RW and plays really well there which would somewhat fix the bad bottom 6.

Kapanen will be on your 3rd line frustrating you less than 20 games into the season. He just isn't the player everyone thinks he is or wants him to be.

hard to see this team finishing 3rd if the bottom 6 is a mess. The top two lines will only play 18 minutes a night each if things stand as normal. 24 minutes on those bottom 2 lines will break games.

It's born from 3 seasons of watching him do the same thing all the time regardless of what the coaches asked of him. That isn't a maturity thing it's an intelligence thing. His hockey IQ is way behind his skillset and at his age, I'm not buying that he'll ever be smart enough to be anything other than a 3rd liner.
