Buffalo might actually be a good fit if they're willing to give up cozens or quinn

I wonder if Quinn & Reinhart would be enough? Cozens seems to be off the table

Idk honestly. Quinn Reinhart and a first would be a better package than any other one that's been posted on this site.

If their getting a young Center back then Cozens could be available. They arent going to trade Cozens for an aging winger though

Dubois > Cozens (similar in value overall but isn't the thing with Cozens that he might one day be a Dubois clone?)

Bjorkstrand > Reinhart

People generally underrate the forwards on Columbus because their power play has been anemic for years.

Bjorkstrand and Reinhart are both 25 and headed to RFA after this year. Bjorkstrand scored at a higher rate 5v5 last year (2.22 p/60) than Reinhart (2.12 p/60) despite playing on a team that struggles offensively. He is also statistically one of the best defensive forwards in the league and has an AAV less than half of Reinhart's (see: https://twitter.com/JFreshHockey/status/1285267165218775040)

All told, he's a more valuable player than Reinhart.

Reinhart was only getting 1 million more till his contract expired, so the only advantage there is that Bjorkstrand signed for 1 extra (shortened) year. He produces .1 p/60 better than Reinhart. Reinharts defensive stats are not far off, but Reinhart consistently plays against tougher competition. Reinhart also just flat out scored more, which is way more tangible than predictions. Advanced stats only paint a small section of the painting, they arent the end all be all like in baseball, hockey is way too fluid
