I think Detroit would consider him depending on the sweetener. Probably give up Turgeon in return if the Islanders would have any interest in him. More for the name than the player himself.

Gotta wonder if Ho-Sang is a sweetener in that kind of trade considering he's not at camp. Not sure who'd take him, but the timing of all this makes me wonder.
