Description

Ppl that say why Ryan Strome in the deal, he just rode panarins coattails.. guess who was PLDs line mate during his best season... guess who regressed without Panarin. Strome was still a .5 point per game player on a bad rangers team the year he was traded. He still has value. Add in Chytil, Jones and Lundkvist and the picks and it’s probably an overpayment, but thats what it’ll take to get PLD. Lundkvist immediately becomes Columbus top prospect, and Jones probably a top 5. Chytil is still a very young 3c with room to grow.

In a flat cap Covid world, Where do you think the Rangers are going to be able to come up with money to pay PLD, Fox, Kakko and Lafreniere down the road?

Rangers gain like 13 mill next year from buyouts, new tv deal in place, trade buch at deadline, get rid of DeAngelo and kreider and possibly Trouba at some point (possibly Seattle)

He’s rock solid defensively though, to judge pld you have to look at this compete game.

Kreider and Trouba aren't going anywhere any time soon, Both have NMC for the next 4 years or so, De Angelo and Bunch should get solid returns though.
