He doesn’t need to clear waivers he’s not invited to camp so he’ll remained assigned to the AHL

He’s not good. Rather play Erod or Lafferty

that is inaccurate. Camp or not he’s a waivers eligible player on a two way contract....has to be waived to go to AHL regardless of not actually being in camp

I really hope someone claims him. I don’t know if he truly is a cancer like has been implied in the media, but his play has come a long way. Want someone else to give him a shot

Ya I don’t thk he’s going to be anything at this point, but he at least deserves an honest look away from NYI.

I could be wrong on this, he finished the yr in the AHL, so not being invited to camp is he technically still in the AHL, like I said I could be wrong, but if he hasn’t been recalled to take part in camp?

The thing is... we have nothing to lose at this point. If we do nothing, we're screwed I'm sure.

Ya it’s weird this season with him not going to camp, but every waivers eligible player assigned to the AHL has to go through. Doesn’t matter where he ended up last season.

Sure in this one.

Example...Warsofsky on waivers today in Toronto, not going to NHL camp, was in AHL at end of last season.

I was really surprised Lou resigned him but maybe he’s doing the kid a solid, he’s tried to move him with no takers maybe he’s seeing if anyone will take him for free, I have my doubts anyone does his list of negatives are twice as long as his positives hard to slot a guy like that ahead of anyone in your system you only got 50 contracts nothing stands out that he’s worth the gamble other then the spot he was taken in the draft and at this point in his development should have zero bearing either.

Just a heads up to his contract type one way or two way is only for contract purposes has nothing to do if he’s waiver eligible or exempt, a one way deal he gets the same pay at any level and a two way he gets paid say 60k in the AHL and 700k in the NHL.

Ya. Outside of CHEL, that’s correct. Two way implies NHL-AHL salary differences, nothing to do with waivers

CF has a useful waivers tool if anyone is confused
