Not with that they don’t.

2 top 100 prospects and a top 10 defenseman in the league. Still a top 3 in the league on the point on the PP. Still .75 points per game as a Defensemen. A right-handed shot D-man. On a good salary too, for only 2 more years. Plus a 1st and 2nd round pick.. ok, sure. If he brings back more than that, I’d be extremely surprised.

Ya, with those 2 picks. That's 4 prospects and a top 10 d-man in the league still. Yes, Letang is injury prone, but still one of the the top 3 PP points in the NHL still. Still scores .75 points a game as a D-man. On a good contract; Letang, Sid, and Geno all took a home town discount and alittle less to help sign more players. He’s worth 8M per plus. And only 2 more years term left on his contract. You get a big amount of salary cap relief in 2 years along with the 4 prospects. Ya, it’s really good value. If the jets get more than this without an extension, I’d be super surprised.

Don't be fooled by the supposed Jet fan above. He would take a bubble gum wrapper for Laine and has no grasp on player values. Winnipeg wouldn't consider this deal at all.

Yep, in YOUR opinion. Right though, if Laine doesn’t come with an extension, no way he even gets close to 2 top 100 prospects and a 1st and 2nd round pick( 4 prospects). And a big upgrade on their 1st pairing RHD and Point on the PP.

Lol. I'm sure in your world where Brian Rust is the same caliber as Laine it makes sense, but to think an injury prone, 33 year old defenseman with a bad contract and only 2 years of term would be the main piece for a 22 year first line winger is absolutely hilarious and has no basis reality at all.

Lol. Ok man. A top 10 D-man in the league still. A top 3 D-man on the PP point still.. 2 top 100 prospects and a 1st and 2nd round pick. For a RFA that is gonna want a fortune this off-season.

I guess Laine brings back a Gretzey or Lindros package..?? lol.

He brings back a NHL level player, a top 100 prospect and a 1st round pick. That’s his value bud. He won’t bring back more than that. Maybe a prospect package of a team’s 2 of their top 1-5 prospects, a NHL player(probably a bad contract back too) and a 1st round pick.

Everyone else says the value is there in the Rust ACGM and this one. You are the only comment that thinks it isn’t. U see the problem?? Lol.

Well obviously Pittsburgh fans are going to think it's fair because they're making a killing. But you'll notice that you are the only one that thinks it's fair, while one neutral poster has stated it's a garbage offer and one Jet fan has said it's a garbage offer.

So, you and you alone are the only one that thinks this is fair. Do you see the problem?

Well, there have only been 3 posters that have commented on this one. One unbiased poster saying it was a bad offer, one Jets fan saying it was a bad offer and you as the only one in favor of it.

You saying it’s a bad offer bud?? The only poster saying that.

What r talking about..??

The other Jets fan saying “fair offer” and the 1st dude, that erased his comment and said “sorry, I thought Letang was on a long termed contract, I didn’t know his contract came off the books in 2 years, it’s good value” u mean that guy?? Lol.

Wow, I guess I shouldn’t have joked about being able to read.

As I said in a thread where only 3 posters reply and you are the only one that thinks it's fair, it's Perry obvious it's a terrible offer. But I forgot, you're the but that doesn't understand the difference between UFA and RFA.

Anyways, continue on in your fantasyland but we know there is zero chance Winnipeg would consider this deal.

Wow, what r u talking talking about..? There is 4 posters here.

One said “fair deal”, the 1st poster said “fair deal” and erased his comment after he found out Letang’s contract is up after next year. Then u, and then me.

That’s 4 commentators. 3 said “fair deal and you. You are crazy man.
