If you’re talking about the NHL 21 description of play styles, Stone is a 2-way forward, since he’s one of the best defensive forwards in the game.

Just by default, I dont think St.Louis can be in this list. Sure in 2010 he was awesome! But only played until 2015 and was really only top 10 good in 2010 and maybe 2011. He's more 2000-2010. No?

I think Pavelski played center for a large portion of the 2010's

Stone and Pastrnak both seem a little undeserving of this position.

I think it’s accurate as a total. Order may need adjustment to factor guys who produced early on in the decade

Stone is a power forward because he uses his body and size effectively to make plays and plays physical - the exact definition of a power forward. Doesn't matter that he plays good defensively, power forwards can do that as well

He's the best on his team who across the board have great analytics. He's great no question but not nearly the best.

On an awful Ottawa team he had 4.1 WAR...who's better than him and has been consistent over the last 2-3 years?

Yeah but he also plays an extremely physical game & crashes to the blue paint so I guess he can be either.

TBH I thought about leaving St Louis in honourable mention but he was almost a PPG until 2014.

IDK, I thought Thornton & Couture were the 2 centers while he was on a line w/Jumbo & Hertl.

Yeah I was definitely hesitant putting Pastrnak over some of the older guys.

I think he has potential to be top 5 for next decade (after Svechnikov, Stuetzle, Pastrnak & Michkov).

Yes, but in NHL 21 for some reason their definition of a power forward means they aren’t as good defensively. I would definitely call him a power forward in real life.
