But seriously, think you might need to add more nice pieces to the laf trade like maybe a young guy like Suzuki or Norlinder, and also add another first and more picks.

No way MTL makes that Lafreniere trade.

Ignoring cap, likely the only way the Rangers even consider that is if Suzuki & probably Caufield are included

That could maybe work. You might need to add another good piece like another pretty good prospect or a young solid NHLer. I think the trade would be hard to make if you don't include one of Suzuki or KK, but honestly it's kind of hard to see what values could work as we haven't even seen Laf play yet.
