So Bergevin is done, no more move expected and there’s loopholes, we don’t need to trade any guys to be cap compliant

He said teams won’t be attracted by players making a decent amount of money long term ( that means Byron ). So Byron will probably start on the Taxi Squad, and he’ll send guys down on the taxi squad to save money ( exemple Evans, Juulsen they will make their AHL salary ) and more the season goes, more cap space we’ll get to have more than a 21 man roster

Juulsen is waiver eligible. I know the injury concern might let him squeez through, but a $700k, 23yo, former 1st rd pick (who was actually playing really solid before his eye injuries) will have a handful of teams taking heavy consideration in claiming him.

imo Habs are going to take a look at him at camp, if he looks good (not necessarily meaning he makes the top 6), he stays and Bergevin makes room for him (someone else hits waivers or gets traded *looks at Mete*), or if Juulsen looks questionable, Habs let him go and roll the dice waiving him.
