Necas would be needed as the main piece for any PLD trade from Carolina

Since when is Columbuss defense weak?

Also you'd have to upgrade Bokk to someone really good.

the d is kinda weak after jones werenski and savard. i believe wholeheartedly that bean would easily beat out gavrikov as the 4th d man

..gavrikov is better than Savard though. Also CBJ would tell you "well if bean is that good, why hasn't he been playing for your team?"

easy. the loaded d ahead of them. they have 7 top 4d imo. bean is truly the odd man out. plus bean won ahl d man of the year last year which is no small accomplishment.

You're absolutely right but Carolina doesn't have leverage there with Bean. CBJ would want more with Bean or an established piece

i just saw a pretty good trade imo that isn't centered around these pieces if u wanna check it out. pesce for dubois. feels like its boutta be pesce for nylander all over again but i like it.
