Description
I know this would never happen but how’s the value? What would you add or take away? Tried to do the trade without studnicka, but I’m sure they’d want a C prospect back. Maybe switch debrusk with kase and switch urho with stud?

That's not enough IMO. You're getting a young 2C who could become a 1, and a top pairing Dman who is going to be elite (if you don't already consider him that). That's 2 HUGE pieces. And you're giving back solid pieces but nothing remotely with Werenski and Dubios' potential. Kerjci is on his down turn, Debrusk is a solid 40-50 point winger, Carlo is a solid 3-4 , will be honest I'm unfamiliar with Vaakainen but he'd have to have 1 C potential for this trade to make sense. It's close but I think you're missing that one top end piece. And that 1st round pick is about 13th overall at the absolute highest.

Vaak might be a top 4 D if all goes well.

I agree with you, and I don’t think Boston has that super attractive piece. Mostly because they usually draft super late

Vaakanainen, Carlo, a 1st is close for Dubois, Jackets would consider I think.

That makes your above trade Krejci, Debrusk, 2nd for Werenski. Which isn't even Ballpark.

You're right it's beyond unrealistic, You want Werenski you need to add McAvoy to the deal instead of Carlo

What you'd want for McAvoy in a deal is what you'd need to offer up for Werenski.

What you'd want for DeBrusk is probably a starter for PLD, but we'd still need to add as PLD is a legit 55+ point player and plays a premium position.

Breakdown:

Werenski > Carlo late 1st

PLD > Debrusk/Urho/2nd

Krejci is a cap space add with minimal value to CBJ as he is unlikely to re-sign with them, not likely he waives his NTC in the first place. But putting that aside, they would flip him at deadline. Whatever they got would be added to their take. Couple of 2nds probably. Not enough to swing into their favor, does close the gap, but in the end they give up the two best pieces in the trade. Generally, that’s not good.
