I think it's great you would want the Blackhawks to trade for Dubois and Byram. Not so great on the value going to CBJ and COL though. Another GM isn't trading for Toews until he can play again. Probably not trading for Nylander either. I'm not certain CBJ is in full tank mode, so trading good players who at this moment will be available to play at the start of the season for players who will not isn't a good move for them.
I think Sakic is really happy with his great defensive core. I don't see why he moves Byram at this point unless it's to get a high impact forward with term and a reasonable cap hit that will help bring home a cup. Even then I don't think he moves Byram. He's got 3 years of ELC left, then RFA years...there's tremendous value in a promising young D with that many years of team control remaining.
If COL weren't contending, and/or were in cap hell, they might be motivated to trade away Cole or E Johnson? As it stands though, they are contenders and based on what I'm seeing on this site won't potentially be in a poor cap situation until the 2022-23 season.
