Agreed. Im a jets fan and I think that's an unfair deal for CLB.
If a deal could be worked out I think it would be PLD for Laine and Roslovic

I also like the narrative of this deal. Only Finish GM acquires young Finish sniper and local kid

If Byram comes out of camp better than Cole he could be traded, but I don’t think he will. They will just keep him as a 7th d.

Still no, Tex is pretty much untouchable tbh. Dubois probably = Laine/Roslo in value, and all the rest of that isn't worth giving up Tex. Jarmo is VERY high on Tex and Torts said he thinks tex is the 2C of the future

Not sure if the Avs can or would retain either. Especially given that they'll need to pay Byram his salary and likely his bonuses

If Byram comes out of camp ready for the NHL then they might do Cole for Stastny at the deadline but WPG will be retaining with the Avs adding something else, otherwise I don't see it.
