Tweaking The Brilliance of OutCold13

Created by: MNBassman
Team: 2020-21 Minnesota Wild
Initial Creation Date: Jan. 5, 2021
Published: Jan. 5, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Ultimately, I am trying to build a 3-way trade here with the Wild keeping Joel Ericksson Ek.
I don’t love the price the Wild are paying here... It all depends on PLD’s ceiling and the Wild’s confidence he will get there.
Neither of these trades seem crazy on their own, but when I add them together (basically Dumba, Greenway, Beckman, Khusnutdinov, and a 1st for PLD and Pionk), it feels like way too much... What says you?

Right, or I you.

From the moment you gotten here; you've been argumentative, combative, aggressive and most importantly insulting to everyone you've commented with in this community, much less to those of the Wild's own fanbase, and I'm the troll?

Right sure, whatever you say. The broken record has spoken. By the way, it's Calen Addison and Brennan Menell, but clearly you know what the hell your talking about.

I'm done with you, to my ignore list you go.

People misspell names. It happens asshole. Bye

Got to this one late. Thanks for the praise in the title. I see the rest of you have had the pleasure of Wildnochance, that one is a treat. Lol. Probably a good idea taking back Dobinsky. To the best of my knowledge he is out indefinitely, so could put him on LTIR and I doubt he would ever suit up for the Wild.

Jets fans really love Pionk, I've been told he is every bit the player Dumba is, so that's good for a laugh.

I would love if Wild could get PLD without losing Rossi or JEEK but I think they will want Ek.

I like @RazWild trade proposal.

How is everyone watching this year? I use to watch on YouTube tv but it seams fox sports north can't come to a agreement with any one so I gotta get this figured out.

Well if you don't want to go in either the Comcast/XFinity-DirectTV route. The only other real streaming option left is AT&T TV or AT&T TV Now. But they're up to you really.

The only other real option left that people are going for is going for NHL.tv, and coupling that with a VPN.

I've heard about the VPN/NHL.tv route but not sure how the VPN works.
Thanks for the heads up I'll check comcast and see if I can get that where I live.

Yeah, I’m in DC so I’m just getting NHL.tv. Just seems like the easiest way about it from my end.

@OutCold13 it's hard to find games on our team but if you want to watch hockey you actually don't need a .tv. The internet is a great resource. I'd recommend getting a VPN as well.

Still hoping we can find a way to get PLD. Tonight's game showed just how badly we need a 1C. It's a high price but I'd pay it. Only problem with this trade is we're losing either Pionk or Ek in expansion...

A VPN (virtual private network) changes your IP to say you are in a different region.
To pair it with NHL.tv you'd need to use the VPN to swap to an out of FSN market/blackout area (FLA for an example).
If you don't want to pay for the NHL.tv just start swapping areas and you might find one where the Wild are the NHL.com free game.
You can also try and find an away feed from their local area.

I always just switched to a European IP so I didn't have to remember if it was a game on NBC because it started. @OutCold13

I didn't buy nhl.tv a couple years ago so I had to do the swapping around the different locations to get the NHL free game when FSN wasn't being picked up by my cable company for a couple months.

Ah, I get what you're saying. I misread your comment, didn't realize the free game changed based on location. I could have sworn I saw the Caps on the free game that was blacked out to me when I lived in the DC area a few years back but I'm probably remembering it wrong.

The Euro VPN trick I mentioned was super handy for nights I just wanted to swap around game to game and not worry about what was airing nationally or in my region. I need to get my subscription renewed for both my VPN and NHL.tv because Wild games are literally the only reason I'd watch a TV subscription nowadays and that's not worth the $70+ a month it looks like it would cost to get access now.
