I mean, the asking price for Laine is reportedly a top 6 fwd and top 4 dman (Which is probably a bit much...), so IMO, it's gotta include one of your top prospects not named Lafreniere, a pick, and a solid NHLer.

Well, you’re still lowballing, in a way.

Here’s the problem, if you’re giving them six pieces, that tells a story, and this is an obvious one. You’ve balled together six things you don’t really mind losing trying to get something that columbus really doesn’t want to lose. Not going to happen. That package stinks.

To get PLD, a piece would have to go the other way that would really hurt.

You'd have to replace Strome with Chytil and swap Hajek with someone like Henriksson

So I figured this is what as the rangers you offer and see what they counter with but still being close slight upgrades but I dont want to lose jones or the picks but cbj has one of the weakest prospect systems so its more using that strength
