Description

Dermott left on roster as healthy scratch vs Taxi squad, since he would need waivers and would likely be claimed.
Taxi squad starts as 5 vs max 6.
Since Lehtonen is waiver exempt, he yoyo's between roster and 6th Taxi Squad spot if/when Dermott goes in the lineup for him and on non-game days to help accrue more cap savings for potential deadline deals.
Leafs accrue pro-rated $440k on days with Lehtonen on roster & $1.366M on days with Lehtonen on Taxi squad.

If Dell or Petan get claimed on waivers going down to the taxi squad, they would be replaced by Hutchinson & Boyd/Joey Anderson.

Yeah from training camp rosters and what I've seen Sheldon Keefe saying this is pretty much what he wants his team to look like for the beginning of the year. Im really excited for that 3rd line to play together, a bunch of high energy guys. Also ik ur doing 5 taxi members vs 6 but id think the Leafs would use the extra spot for another 6-man like Marincin.
