In a word - Daigle.

You’re right, because Ottawa picked Daigle, who was actually projected to go that early, definitely means Boston picked exactly right, because two wrongs make them right.

DeBrusk was 14 picks early, saying it was still a 1st round projection is rhetoric. What if DeBrusk was taken 1st overall, is that a gamble to you, because he’s still projected to go in the 1st round? The DeBrusk pick was too early, way too early, which makes it a gamble.

If this really bothers you, just tell people the picks went like this;

13th Zboril
14th Carlo
15th DeBrusk
37th Senyshyn

Or just stop thinking about it because you just can’t change it.

I don’t think about it all. I don’t care. 🤷🏻‍♂️ People keep bringing it up.

But again mid 1st to top 2nd are mostly interchangeable.

Passing on top 5 for a late teen is not the same as passing on a mid teen for a mid 20.

Terrible that they got a guy who has averaged 25g per 82 games with a mid 1st, not sure how they sleep at night with that pick Lol.

No they aren’t, that’s rhetoric. Yes there are tiers in the amateur draft, but they drafted several tiers too early for one, and quite a few more for the other. Stick your head in the sand, I don’t care, there are stupid all over this world, and they won’t change because their egos won’t let them.

I’m done with this, believe what you want, your opinion is worthless.

As is yours. 🤷🏻‍♂️ And yes, most of those players involved fell within the same tier with the exception of Barzal and Senyshyn. Lol.

I did not start the thread and had you bothered to read my posts before you chimed in you’d seen that i don’t care about this woulda/coulda/shoulda stuff. 👍🏻

Just ignore it and move on. Thanks for the unnecessary hate and negativity tho.

Next you should try a PLD trade. None of those going around.

You do realize that if this were hindsight those guys would not have been there with the picks the bruins had so this is a moot point.... every team can go back and do this

You do realize we're not idiots and we realize that it's still fun to talk about how bad it was.
