Keeping Kerfoot is a huge risk for this team, considering the lack of depth they have. If he get's banged up during practice, imagine what would happen when playing against Canadian rival's. We should have kept Kadri

Kadri is 2nd liner for a better team. Doubt he's waiving to be 3rd line for Toronto

Kadri would easily waive, even if it mean's playing on the third line. He is a Toronto boy and had no intention's of being traded, specifically when he didn't waive to Calgary. Everything about him is all Toronto

Kerfoot is good, did you not see him playing with JT and Willie? and Kadri's foolish decisions have cost the leafs 2 too many times in the first round of the playoffs, though his style of play adds aggression and spark

Kerfoot is ok, but if he is always injured, our depth lack's tremendously. We don't have Kapanen and Johnsson to rely on anymore to replace the production we lost with Kerfoot

I think Avs easily decline but I agree with you. Getting rid of Kadri was a big mistake. And it wouldn't have been if Barrie worked out, but what a flop he was.

Outside of Kerfoot and Hyman, the Leafs are filled with AHLers/4th liner's

He probably wouldn't have to. He only has a 10 team no trade list, and considering he's from the area and has been very vocal about loving his time there and his disappointment in being traded, they're probably not on it.

Spezza, Thornton, Barabanov, Simmonds, Vesey, and Mikheyev would either be on the fourth line of a contending team, taxi squad, or AHL squad

kadri was injured for more games than kerfoot last season. the year before that kadri was injured for more games than kerfoot.
since kerfoot has entered the NHL, kadri has missed 30 games and kerfoot has missed 12.

you are being silly

But he wouldn’t. I was under the impression that because he was playing on the third line is the reason he wanted out. And he seems to fit really well in Colorado.

Except Kadri didn't want out. Although I am sure he couldn't be happier now that he did get out. He is going to win a cup with the Avs.

this right here is the best.

So you trade a guy because you didn't want him, then are saying he will come back?
He's on a better team in Colorado and Colorado is loaded right now and will be in the future.

This person is guaranteed to be one of the people who were cursing Kadri out for getting suspended in the playoffs.

Might want to check that against the team that just won the cup...

I did and they have no player's close to who I listed. You don't win with Jimmy Vesey's or Mikheyev's or Spezza's on your team
