every line is good or eh none are great

Description
Looks like Leonard (my forever love) is competing for a middle 6 role, not really just a roster spot.

This make these top 3 lines just so "ehhhh". Each is medium-high risk with high or low reward. I like it though. Either be top 4 or suck

There's a lot of bounceback candidates on the Sharks and I think they can compete for 4th in the West, but that top 6 is below average and that bottom 6 is among the worst in the leauge. Hopefully Jones not having to be shelled into oblivion every night and a hopeful comeback season for EK and Burns can carry the team

I think that third line will probably be one of the worst lines in the league.

Another top 5 pick while their core gets another year older.

God San Jose is bound to be a wreck at some point, they already might be. Paying way too much on an overrated blue line, leaving the forward group as probably one of the weakest and thinnest in the whole league. Good grief, and shaky goaltending at the center of it all.

I agree the top 6 is mediocre... but they aren’t below average.
Bottom 6 isn’t elite but they aren’t worst in the leauge. Each of our bottom 6 players would start for most teams in the leauge I would say our bottom 6 is decent but needs some youth with potential.

If we get a top 5 pick there is some talent in the top 5 of this draft but not much beyond that... so I’d be ok with it but next year I hope we just flat out stink and get one of those top 3/4 guys!!!! Then we would be primed for a solid rebuild

not even great talent in the top 5. Power isn't really showing off great at Michigan. Clarke barely played this year. Eklund didn't get to play at WJC, Raty falling off. Not a great class at all

Yea I know and I put a trade for our first and Bichfeld for Strome In Chicago and people freaked out!!
I don’t get it I one in this draft looks as promising as Strome does right now.

Yeah, maybe Clarke if he starts really showing in Slovakia, but other than that I can't see much

Would you do Strome for a 1st Blichfeld and maybe another filler piece?

As a fan yeah, that gives us a great chance to compete this year. The only issue I have is DW would surely be fired if he traded his first (doesn't have a 2nd) after last season, regardless who he brings in. It's totally a bad year to tank, but if we do at least it's a D heavy class and Lambos Power Clarke Hughes Chayka etc become our best d prospect, especially after 2020 only drafting forwards. I think (especially with giving Leonard Ferraro and Gregor larger roles) we are setting ourselves up for a boom or bust season, which is deal.
