Holl played a top 4 role last season & generated really solid results. Given how thin Toronto is on defence, they probably don't move him unless Dermott breaks out.

if you think Tanev is a bad contract you don't know what a bad contract is. There are guys that are untouchable because of their trade, but he's not one.
He's the kind of guy a team like TOR desperately needs but doesn't have. Like a lot of teams.
He fills his role and does it well. While you only look at goals and assists, Tanev is over there infuriating other teams and collecting power plays for the penguins as he's so fast grabbing him and tripping him are the only ways teams end up trying to slow him down. If players got points for every time they got a PP Tanev would have a much larger point total than you think. You can't ask any better from a bottom 6 guy. The real problem with the penguins last year, is the ****ing PP sucked and they couldn't capitalize off all the hard work Tanev put in.
But I assure you, that contract, is not bad.

There was a 5 team bidding war for him which is why the contract is what it is, and he had a great year which would only up his value.

People need to stop trying to trade him from the Penguins as he was a great fit, and something that they need more of, not less.
