Yea he looked unreal but that's a bit much. Amriov also looked great, NRob should be a 1st line winger, Sandin projects to the top 4 and was defenceman of the tournament last year, likely projects to be a first pair D as well.

To me this looks like (all ceilings):

Elite 1C (Zegras) for Top 6 winger (Amirov) + Elite 1W (Robertson) + Top pair D (Sandin)+ 1st

Even if you want to call it Elite 1C for 2nd line W (Amirov) + 2nd line W (NRob) + 2nd pair D (Sandin) + first it seems to be a hefty price.

Yeah the trade is definitely unrealistic, leafs should never do that and maybe the ducks shouldn’t either but I’d bet they’d at least think about it

Yeah Ducks need to hold on to their potential elite 1C, Leafs need a variety of potentially elite prospects to fill the holes in the lineup on ELCs. Ducks would think about it but it leaves them such a huge hole at 1C. Maybe if they could somehow get Dubois as well...

Hate to break it to you... a great World Juniors is nice but doesnt equate to anything... Patrick O'Sullivan had a great World Juniors career and howd that turn out....

Patrick O’Sullivan only got to 8 points and that was his 3rd world juniors 14 points total over the 3 years, that good and all but not great, that’s also one example I think the odds are in Zegras’s favour that he turns out better
